The new FM 1488 road is now open. The completed project spans 2.3 miles from W Lost Creek Blvd at the Lakes of Magnolia to FM 1488. Opened on June 4th with one lane in each direction . The new FM 1774 was designed for two lanes in each direction, and a center turn lane. Re striping for 4 lanes will be completed before the end of the year. This delay is due to a non-attainment area environmental study required by the EPA, which was recently completed. The roadway also includes parallel parking in the city.
